"Maddy is kind, reliable, and honest up front, so choosing her for our photography session came with no surprises. The transparency she offers is very refreshing, the expectations and standards she has for herself reflects in her work. She has this charisma that made my boyfriend and I comfortable the entire time, plus her ability to match our energy kept us laughing naturally, resulting in the most beautiful (and not forced) pictures. I cannot pose for the life of me, my boyfriend stands like a brick wall, but that didn’t hinder her ability to coach us. She’d tell us a prompt, act it out herself, take the shot, and if she didn’t like it, she wouldn’t accept it. She would reword the prompt, change a motion, or literally lay on the ground to show how the pose should look. I was dumbfounded by how active she was during our session! She was very vocal throughout about the amount of time we had left and that helped greatly with maximizing our session. Then, the turn around time for photos, speechless. She is clearly very passionate about what she does, which is rare. Poor Maddy probably didn’t realize the challenge she took on when I booked her, but you have never been able to tell due to her high level of professionalism. I am from the East Coast in a saturated area of photographers and no one compares to her. When you choose a photographer, don’t just look at their work, look at who they are and if they don’t reflect Maddy’s values then you’re choosing the wrong person."
